As we set up our goals for 2019, it’s time to reflect on what the past 12 months have brought us. The moments of joy, the lessons we’ve learned and steps we’ve taken made 2018 so unique. So we’re happy to share our top 10 highlights of 2018 with you.

1.   The rise to Platinum

2018 was a year of growth for GEN-C. Starting the year with our promotion from a Silver to a Gold Salesforce.com Consulting Partner was amazing! Now, 12 months later, we are thrilled to be promoted to an official Platinum Salesforce.com Partner. We’re very thankful to reach the highest of statuses in the industry and continue into 2019!

To be recognised as an official Salesforce Platinum Consulting Partner is an amazing achievement. This enables us to grow and strengthen our position on the market even further whilst attracting new consultants to join our GEN-C Ohana.

2. 5 Years of true Salesforce Passion

What started as an idea back in 2010, fully launched in 2013. Fast-forward to 2018 and we are celebrating our 5-year anniversary! As a team of passionate Salesforce.com experts, we’re proud of what we have achieved in the past 5 years and are looking forward to what is yet to come. Let’s keep rocking the cloud!

3.   2nd GEN-C Office

At the start of 2018 we’ve also reserved permanent seats at the Frame 21 business center in Herentals. This enables us to provide an even better service to its customers in the BeNeLux. In combination with our headquarters in Kontich, this opens up many opportunities to further expand our business in the years to come.

4.   Customer Satisfaction Increased

GEN-C commits itself to be the partner of choice when it comes to Salesforce.com technology. Therefore, we’re happy that we can close 2018 and start 2019 with a Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT) of 9.71/10. Going forward, we aim to keep delivering state-of-the-art solutions and the best experience to our customers.

5.   Knowledge Expansion

2018 was a promising year in regards to the level of knowledge our team has gained. Firstly, we’ve expanded our team by 30% and are happy to introduce them to our GEN-C Ohana. Secondly, we increased the amount of Certified Salesforce.com Consultants by 46% compared to 2017. This means that we can head into 2019 with an even bigger and diversified team in any Salesforce.com area.

6.   Salesforce Lightning Strikes

Last year, we helped businesses make the switch to Salesforce® Lightning, the new Salesforce UI. This in preparation of the global rollout of the new UI starting in the Winter ’19-release. In doing so, we were able to make an impact in businesses such as BESIX, who were able to move lightning fast and be more productive.

7.   Introducing Salesforce in the Public Sector

In 2018, GEN-C was able to establish a solid basis in the Public Sector. The flexibility of the Salesforce Platform allows for many solutions for public organisations. We were able to help their cause by delivering state-of-the-art Salesforce environments in the employment-, creative- and waste area.

8.   Inspiring the next generation of Trailblazers

GEN-C frequently gets asked to share their expertise with the Salesforce Platform at organizations, schools, universities, etc. 2018 was no different. Our Certified Salesforce Instructor, Marina Cooreman, gave a guest lecture at HoWest University about the Salesforce Platform. Certified Salesforce Consultant – and Instructor Roanne Timmerman led the Salesforce onboarding sessions for DK Company. We dedicate ourselves to keep inspiring others with our work in the following year.

9.   All for fun and fun for all!

Moments of joy and laughter is how we would describe 2018. Moreover, more than  15 team events took place (props to our fun managers!). Not forgetting our monthly co-workday, GEN-Talks and crazy team events. Crazy you ask? Have you ever seen a bunch of IT-consultants drive a mini-kart or go bowling? I’ll let that speak for itself.

10.   Wedding Bells

Although the past 12 months have shown growth on a professional level, we were also honored to see 2 of our colleagues tie the knot this year. We wish them a lifetime full of love and happiness.

Into 2019

2019 already got off to a good start. We were recognised as a ‘Top Partner’ by Salesforce! So, once again, we’d like to thank our whole team for making this possible and to our customers for believing in us.
