Salesforce celebrates its twentieth birthday this year. For the past 20 years, the company has amazed its customers and supporters with tons of features and new functionalities. The World Tour in Amsterdam 2019 on March, 7th marked a new industrial revolution. Experts expect that by 2020, one third of all the jobs don’t exist currently. Moreover, if companies want to fill the gap between the skill sets of their current employees and their future employees they will need to invest in training.
The latest innovations & products
This edition of the Salesforce World Tour Amsterdam introduced us to the latest products and innovations and how they fit in the Salesforce ecosystem. We learned more about the future of AI, Salesforce Customer 360, Einstein Voice and Lightning amongst others.

MyTrailhead
Hot topic this year was the GA (or General Availability) of the MyTrailhead platform. Which fits right into the philosophy of
Learning Culture – Adoption – Transformation.
MyTrailhead is the newest flagship in the Salesforce store. It allows companies to create their own training- and onboarding material by making use of the state-of-the-art technology behind Trailheads. More so, it allows companies to track the progress of each employee as he makes his way through a combination of existing modules, custom branded modules, links and more.
MyTrailhead is fully integrates in the Salesforce platform allowing customers to create automated learning journeys by using the process builder. This allows for tailor made solutions for each and every employee.
As a Salesforce Platinum partner we will be able to help our customers leverage the benefits of this new functionality by helping them create branded content for their users in any implementation project. Keep an eye on our website or subscribe to this blog for more information.

A wide array of inspirational sessions
Next to the new Trailhead functionality, which you can already use today free of charge, there was a plethora of knowledge being shared by partners, customers and Trailblazers that are transforming themselves, delivering exceptional customer experiences and preparing for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The customer success expo housed around 60 partners showing and demonstrating products that integrate with Salesforce, while in the break rooms people could watch demo’s from customers explaining how they used the platform to grow and to support their customers.

We at GEN-C were present to soak up all these new goodies and to be prepared for the next generation of projects. So contact us with your questions and we will help you make your project a success!
