The Flemish Radio and Television Broadcasting Organisation (Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroeporganisatie), or VRT, is the national public-service broadcaster for the Flemish Community of Belgium. It’s core mission is to inform, inspire, unite & reinforce Flemish society.
VRT is a service providing organization with high-quality & distinctive programming, which contains internal & external created content. It wants to reach all media users & tries to represent the Flemish Community in all its facets. Therefore, VRT plays a key role in lives of all Flemish people.

Business challenge
Partner Relationship Management (PRM) Platform
The range of the VRT networks is composed of its own productions, externally made productions and purchased programs. In its future cooperation with the production houses, VRT wants to emphasize consultation, transparency and joint entrepreneurship.
With this assignment, VRT wishes to professionalize its current processes for acquiring content and commercially exploiting this content. VRT is therefore looking for a customized configurable (SAAS) Partner Relationship Management platform that will be used to support and automate these processes.
Approach & Services
BRIGHTFOX delivered a solution, built on VRT’s existing Salesforce org, where all different stakeholders can take advantage of this new Partner Relationship Management platform. This future proof solution automates & helps the users in all different phases of it’s contractual process for all types of contracts. The Rights In Department uses Salesforce core functionalities to improve tracking their available & bought contractual rights. The Rights Out Department is split up into three sub-departments: Brand Extensions, Commercial & Content Partnerships. They use a custom built Search Engine to search for available & sold rights. Next to the search engine, they use complex flows to optimize the user experience. We used all benefits of the Salesforce platform to make a tailored solution, consisting out of a complex architecture, automation, generation & e-signing. Our Solution made collaboration, tracking & the overall contractual process a lot more easy.
